Presented below is a thought from me on writing, a quote from someone else on writing, an excerpt from that writer, and a discipline/habit to implement…
A Thought
“No matter how small, if you aren’t writing down your seedling ideas, how will they ever grow?”
– Austin Alford
A Quote
“Every book you pick up has its own lesson or lessons, and quite often the bad books have more to teach than the good ones.”
– Author Stephen King
An Excerpt
“Love is a moment of life enchanting, let’s take that moment that tonight is granting.”
– Songwriter Dean Martin, from Song: There’s No Tomorrow
A Discipline/Habit to Implement
Drink a glass of water every morning after you wake up.
Your brain is made up of over 70% of water and we need to hydrate first thing in order for optimal performance for the day.
We need our brains pumping in order to be creative!
When we are not hydrated, the Creators of the Berkey Water Filters say, “your brain operates on less fuel, and you can feel drained or even experience fatigue or mood fluctuations.”
Since 2020, I’ve applied having a tall glass ready for me in the morning to fill up and drink. Before drinking coffee, tea, eating, working out, whatever you typically do, I highly recommend applying this small but powerful discipline/habit into your life to accelerate your writing!
Put Pen to Paper this week and have fun!
